Job Description:
JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple
western test ranges for the U.SAir Force, Space Force and Navy
under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as
J-Tech IIJT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and
training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting
aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and
tomorrow's global challengesJOB SUMMARY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Operations and maintenance technician, working under general
technical guidance, who specializes in ground-based electronic
systems--- Works on various types of electronic equipment and
related devices by performing a combination of the following:
installing, maintaining, repairing, overhauling, troubleshooting,
modifying, construction and testing--- Operates and maintains
electronic transmitting and receiving equipment, digital and analog
computers, industrial measuring and controlling equipment,
microwave amplifiers and transmission lines, high voltage power
supplies and keying circuits, indicators and displays, and antenna
positioning systems--- Applies technical knowledge of electronic
principles to solve basic problems using diagrams, schematics,
engineering data and test equipment--- Diagnoses equipment
malfunctions and effects repairs to restore equipment to required
operating conditionManipulates computer keyboards and views and
interprets computer displays--- Troubleshoots to the component
level and makes needed repairs--- Performs all other related duties
as assigned or requestedREQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL AND
WORK EXPERIENCE Education and/or training from an accredited
college or technical school with courses in math, basic
electronics, and microwave theory or a military equivalent and
three years of hands-on experience are requiredISCET certification
may be requiredDemonstrated proficiency in general electronics and
good understanding of electronic, electro-mechanical, and computer
systems along with test equipment used to maintain and repair
equipment is necessaryExperience with tubes, transistors, logic
gates, and/or high-power RF devices may be requiredSuccessful
candidates will have the demonstrated ability to troubleshoot to

working surfacesAbility to work in a field environment with some
shift work, at remote locations with occasional overnight
assignmentsMust be able to lift 50 lbs(anything heavier requires
two or more people or mechanical assistance)Travel to remote
