Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Associate, State and Local Tax
(Remote CT or MA).
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review Sales & Use, Excise, and Personal Property Tax
Returns, and manage compliance deadlines
Respond to inquiries from state tax authorities and validate
customer exemption certificates
Assist with state income tax apportionment workpapers and research
taxability of customers and products
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
3+ years of corporate tax experience in public accounting and/or
industry
Knowledge of Business License Tax and Sales Tax Multistate
Exemption Certificates
Experience with SAP and SOVOS is preferred
Certified Public Accountant designation is a plus
