Job Description:
A company is looking for an Assistant General Counsel Director,
Commercial.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal and business advice on customer, bank, partner, and
vendor contracts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues
and support strategic outcomes
Develop agreement templates and offer practical legal advice to
enhance contracting processes
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in commercial contracts, preferably in both
a law firm and in-house setting
Industry experience in FinTech, payments, financial services,
and/or software technology
Working knowledge of the regulatory landscape in the payments and
issuing space in the US
JD degree and member in good standing of a State Bar
Strong negotiating and drafting skills with a focus on balancing
legal risk and business objectives
