Job Description:
A company is looking for a Peer Recovery Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient engagement and support recovery management
processes
Educate patients on community resources and facilitate care
transitions
Maintain communication with patients and provide social/emotional
support
Required Qualifications
Active peer certification in Oregon and 2+ years of peer support
experience
Minimum of two years of recovery from substance use and/or
co-occurring mental health disorders
Certification as a National Certified Peer Recovery Support
Specialist expected within 9 months of hire
High degree of trustworthiness and integrity with a focus on
patient confidentiality
Ability to connect individuals with local recovery resources
